My daughter has been asking if she can learn to sew for ages, but being a single dad I felt bad that i was totally clueless to help her ! I ordered up these books for her birthday and she absolutely loves them. She found the coloured illustrations really easy to follow on her own, and she's been trying to teach me all the new stitces she's learned too Great books !

My granddaughter just turned ten. I bought her this book for her birthday. She had never sewn on a machine before. She read the book before coming to my house to learn to use the sewing machine. She knew all the parts of the machine and did a great job at her first lesson. We used the pattern for the Ipod holder for our first project. I highly recommend this book.
